CJU Members wellbeing conversation

It's fair to say 2020 has been a lot to deal with.

From the fires in Australia and other extreme weather events all around the globe, to the ongoing global pandemic and it's varying impacts on it all, to the stresses of the recent US election and the mixed feelings flowing on from it.

And that's without considering what's happened in our own lives too.

On Wednesday November 11 at 5:30PM we'll be opening up an online space to discuss current issues, our responses, our coping mechanisms, and how we keep doing what needs to be done amidst it all.

Come along and spend some time with supportive and like minded people in facilitated discussion about our lives, our movement, our fears and struggle, and how we get through this together.

Join via Zoom:  details to be sent via email upon registration

Feel free to bring a movement friend, even if they're not yet a CJU member - but don't share the link publicly.

See you there.

We acknowledge that we begin our work as The Climate Justice Union on the Boodja (land) of the Wadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We honour the Wadjuk people and their kin in other Nations and Country across these lands and waters, who have always cared for this place and all who lived here.

We acknowledge First Nations Elders past and present, and acknowledge that those of us living here, who came from across the seas, live on land that was taken, stolen. We acknowledge the responsibility that comes with this understanding and that we personally and collectively benefit from this theft.

As such, we all have a responsibility to decolonise ourselves, our lives and work, and to heal the harm these oppressive systems have inflicted.

We are a community union and do not cover you in your workplace. All Climate Justice Union members are also encouraged to join the relevant industrial union. Click here to find your industrial Union.
