CJU 3yr Anniversary on October 23!!! (AGM)

Three years, three hundred members, and we're just getting started!

We are excited to invite you to Climate Justice Union’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration on Sunday October 23, 2pm - 4pm (AWST).

In order to make this accessible to as many CJU members as possible, we're holding our celebration online via Zoom.

We have a lot to celebrate, plenty to reflect on, learn from and some big plans to share.

Climate action is higher on the political agenda than it has ever been and it feels like things are finally starting to move. Now it's critical that we work together to ensure actions taken are not just ambitious, but also fair, equitable and just.

During these times like these we need to be connected with each other and ensure our work is as well coordinated and effective as possible. 

Climate Justice Union is our shared space to do just that.

So come along for this joyous online gathering, where you can:

• Hang out and bask in the gloriousness of our CJU community and catch up with your fellow members.
  
  
• Hear about some of the amazing work CJU members are doing (which you make possible by being a member!)
  
  
• Learn about our membership growth plan and how *you* can help 
  
  
• Enjoy some awesome art made by members

This event will also serve as our 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Climate Justice Union. 

At our AGM you can hear about and vote on important matters for the org, including electing members of the committee.

On the agenda for this years AGM will be:

• AGM Report
• Membership Growth
• Finances and Fundraising
• What we said we would do
• What we actually did
• What we plan to do next
• General business

There are no committee positions vacant or due for election this year.

If you have any items you would like to bring to the AGM for General Business, please email your proposed item to CJU Secretary Luke Skinner ( secretary@climatejusticeunion.org ) as soon as possible.
